Children with autism spectrum disorders can thrive and be successful in early care and education settings. One key component for success is teachers, staff, and families with the knowledge and skills they need. Ms. Doyle will answer questions related to enhancing the learning of young children with autism spectrum disorders, understanding the perspective of these children, and promoting peer relationships in early childhood. Ms. Doyle will discuss the “why” behind the behavior of young children with autism spectrum disorders, how caregivers can work successfully with families, and how they can prioritize the skills that need to be taught.
