The Illinois Early Learning Project Web site is a source of evidence-based, reliable information on early care and education for parents, caregivers, and teachers of young children in Illinois.

    The Illinois State Board of Education has released a draft of the revised Illinois Early Learning and Development Standards, Preschool, formerly the Illinois Early Learning Standards. This draft is being reviewed and critiqued by early childhood professionals from public and private schools, Head Start, colleges, universities and community-based early care and learning programs.
