Colored Flowers

Show your child how flowers and plants soak up water using food coloring, water, and a flower! Fill a cup with water and add drops of food coloring. Place a flower, preferably one that is white, yellow, or pink, in the cup and set it out overnight. Your child will be amazed in the morning to find that their flower has changed colors!

Estimated Time: 20 minutes

Materials: Cup, water, food coloring, and a flower (pink, white, or yellow)
